...and I don't mean a broken leg.
A couple weekends
ago we ventured to Kansas City on a family get-away. How nice!!
Highlights were:
- Harry S. Truman museum
- Having 2 hotel suites
- Swimming in the pool with Super G.
- Large breakfasts in the hotel
- RIBS, great bbq, burgers, and Krispy Kreme
- WWI museum
- Twins baseball game at beautiful Royals stadium
- No chores, no laundry, no work
But most of all...having fun together, enjoying each others' company.

Twins Game in May!!
Wow, I am so far behind in posting! Guess you have to start somewhere!!
In late May, we were guests in the skybox for a Twins game, against the Yankees. It was really a nice evening. There were hot dogs, chips, cookies etc. We could see everything!! S. and G. really enjoyed the game, cheering for the Twins. Here are a couple photos.

Thanks, John, for inviting us!! John is one of the Radio sales people that I work with. :)

Big Day in Baseball

Ah, it is a big day in baseball today, for the Minnesota Twins.
Central crown comes down to one game
The Twins and White Sox, with identical records for the 162-game season, will play today for the American League Central crown, with the winner advancing to the playoffs.
Wow, what a day, what a day.
Hmm-I think my sis GW and I should have a real wager on this one. How about the LOSER has to wear the WINNER's jersey on the first day of the playoffs?? Yes? (oh, and I'd be happy to supply you with a jersey in time for the game...!!)
