The Pink Team

Thursday was a beautiful day for a ball game! This was a rain makeup game from a few weeks ago. I always have a conflict on her regular game nights, so I was happy to be able to see this game!!

They won--and had fun doing it!!

This is S. and her good friend A. They've known each other since S. was really little-and they enjoy going to our church camp together, etc.

Softball Team

This is our softball team, Purple Reign.

About 1/2 hour before this photo I sprained my ankle. Good thing I have shades on, as I was in quite a bit of pain. Oh yes, right after this photo I went to the ER!

We had a really fun season. The girls taught me a lot about enthusiasm, as in many games we were outmatched...but regardless of the score, they never cared and always had a positive attitude.

In one game we were behind by 10 runs and they were saying "oh, so what?" We came back to tie which to me was oh so fantastic, only to lose in the bottom of the last inning. To come back to tie, for me, was the biggest and best triumph of the season...

Softball Fun-Tournament

This weekend was the annual softball tournament. The Cubs had some ups and downs, but overall did well. They went 1-3 for the tourney, and their win was against the eventual champion!!

S. did some pitching...she did beautifully!!

Summer Sports

A couple weekends ago was team picture day...for soccer and softball. I took these photos "on the sly."

G is doing great on her soccer team. After she scored a goal, she put her hands up and covered her mouth, as if to say, "Oh my goodness!"

S has been pitching in the last 2 games and doing very well!

It is so fun to watch them!
