Wren Song

I know it is truly spring when the wrens come back from their winter home. They have a little wren house in the neighbor's yard. Their song is beautiful, although a bit shrill, especially when they start singing at sunrise.

What compels this beautiful song bird to work her magic with her voice incessantly all day??
